Funny how apple turned out to be the exact opposite of what they claimed here. They are totally like 1984, wanting to control everything their users do. Putting ridiculous limitations and rules on their devices.

As for the lazy criminals, they will just obtain another weapon, like a knife, which cannot be fought-off, either.

If less people have access to guns than less people will commit crimes by guns. They dont allow gun sales in most European countries and that translates to less people getting killed by guns. If a would be criminal didnt have easy access to guns like just being able to go to wal mart to get one than it would be harder to get em and most criminals are lazy so they wouldnt go through the trouble of acquiring a hand gun.

@photolitherland Criminals will still obtain handguns, and will still kill people. A law is not going to change that. In fact, it will just make crime rates go higher, like they have in the UK.
The only people affected by such a law would be law-abiding citizens, who might use a handgun as their own personal protection. If they are disarmed, they will have to rely on their own body, which is no match for a criminal’s gun, instead of just shooting the criminal, or at least intimidating them.

Sure there would still be stabbings and shit but not being able to just go to a pawn shop and by a gun is a good thing, keeps ghetto fuckers from killing other ghetto retards and it would keep the extreme right wing fundies from carrying guns around in public.
